Path of the Paddle Association is run by a Board of Directors that share a love of Northwestern Ontario, joined by a league of volunteers and staff that care to see water trails that connect us to one another and the natural world.
As a retired educator and avid volunteer, Clara has experience in leading volunteer organizations through change and is ready for the future growth of POPA. Clara and husband Erwin enjoy living next to POPA's Animikii Trail.

Hiker, Medical Geneticist, Green Party Candidate, Ed leads the Board of Directors with enthusiasm for building and maintaining this incredible legacy and piece of the Trans Canada Trail.
As a past teacher, criminologist, health administrator, and management consultant, Mike contributes a wealth of experience. With a love of adventure and geography, he wants to protect the waterways and forests of NWO while sharing its splendor with residents and visitors alike.
Eco-Adventure Outfitter, Environmentalist, Avid Canoeist, Michelle brings a deep connection to the Quetico area having been an integral part of Voyageur Wilderness Programme for years. To learn more see: http://www.vwp.com/
Gary Davies has worked in natural resource management and conservation for over 40 years retiring in 2014 after 35 yrs with the MNR working in forest management and public land management. Now he works part-time for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, the local stewardship council and other community organizations. Gary has a lifelong relationship with trails, starting with hiking the Bruce Trail as a boy to today enjoying the Great Trail and other great trails in NW Ontario and beyond.
