About the Trail

The 160 km Maukinak (Turtle) Trail segment joins the Quetico Trail to the south, and the Migizi Trail segment to the northwest.
 
Providing canoeing and back country camping the trail passes through 493 km via Turtle River-White Otter Lake Provincial Park and joins Dryden and Atikokan.
 
The Dryden segment travels through a series of smaller lakes, to the south including runs from Long Lake through Stormy to Katisha, Thundercloud and Kennewapekko to Taylor, Rattlesnake Creek, Upper Manitou, Harper, Kekekwa Lake & Creek to Eagle, with a spur to Dryden via Ingall, Dore and Trap Lakes.
